HELLO!!!

I’m so excited to finally be sharing this with whoever you are on the other side of the screen!

So if you’re reading this, you’re on the receiving end of my very first blog post, which is something I have been waiting to write for a VERY long time. For anyone who knows me personally, this probably won’t come off as much of a surprise, because, well, I love to talk. I love to tell stories, make people laugh, and remember good times, which is, coincidentally,  what this website is going to be all about…

One hundred percent me, one hundred percent of the time.

This post is probably going to be the most boring post OF ALL TIME, because it’s just me going over all my “big plans” for the site and virtually giggling out of excitement because I can’t believe I finally have this project that I’ve been wanting to start since forever ago, so on that note, let’s begin.

Let’s talk about the boring, planned out nonsense that I plan on posting on here first and get it out of the way.

Up in the navigation bar are different tabs you can click that can take you to different kinds of memories! Videos being mainly little edits I make or snippets of happiness I capture, Photos being, well, photos… and finally, THE BLOG. This is literally my public diary. I’m gonna write about literally anything… random thoughts, previous experiences, crazy stories, and also WORDS FROM MY FRIENDS!!!

My friends are hands down the most important people to me, and I want them to be a part of everything I do! So roughly once a month, I’m going to have a different friend write, from their POV, their favorite memory we share, or honestly, anything they want to post! The floor will be all theirs for the day because as much as I love to talk, I also love to listen!

My main focus for this is to create a space that I can go back to at any point in time throughout my life and experience a moment all over again, and if you don’t understand what I mean by that, let me paint a picture.

Have you ever had a friend send you old pictures or videos of a fun memory, like a snippet of a moment, that when you look at it, your mind floods with all the funny jokes you laughed at that day, or you think of a conversation you had with that person, or maybe the memory just brings you joy… well basically that’s what this is for me but on a larger scale. I’m going to take all of those pictures, and all of those videos, that make me smile or that make me remember an important time in my life, and I’m going to put words behind them, so that one day when my kids and grandkids ask what I was like when I was there age, or who was my best friends in high school, or whats your craziest story, I can show them in real time, what I looked like, who I was with and what I was thinking in that exact moment. If you don’t think that’s awesome, then I don’t know what to tell you.

However, if that were the only reason for me spending months planning all of this out, I think I’d be a little crazy, it’s okay, you don’t have to say it cause I already did!

Another huge reason I’m starting this “journey” is that if not now, then when? Currently, I am a 17-year-old girl, I have so much more experience to gain, so much more life to live, and so many more lessons to learn, and this will provide me with my own personal evolution chart, a place to document my mental growth and major learning experiences.

This already has been so fun to create, and I cannot wait for it all to come together.
